Looking for an exotic adventure in the Glory? Join us in Peru this August as we travel deep into the Amazon jungle for a gathering of tribes at the largest Christian event of its kind in the bush.
John Crowder and Benjamin Dunn will lead an expedition two days up the Amazon River by boat into one of the most unreachable areas of the world. We will minister for several days among the natives who live in remote villages throughout the broader region. Some of the tribal peoples will have journeyed by foot and boat up to one week to reach this event. Help us share the gospel at the ends of the earth! We will bring a refreshing drink of new wine and a pure revelation of the cross to these beautiful people!
We specifically want those who are spontaneous and enjoy situations outside their comfort zones. We also need those who are willing to preach, play games and love on the children, pray for the sick and have fun!
*This trip is not for the faint of heart! We will be miles away from medical facilities, cell phone coverage, air conditioning or any creature comforts. This trip is only for the physically fit and those who are not afraid of risk and the unknown! If you are excited about dodging pythons, pirhannas and jaguars while drinking deep of the shoobie juice, this is the trip for you!
The team will fly into Lima, Peru July 31, and leave on August 13.
